Electric Quad

The electric quad has now arrived – being charged up by Knoydart Renewables on hydro power!

We’ve tried it out for a few uses – collecting manure and seaweed for the community garden with the trailer; visiting the campsite and Long Beach and bringing back recycling; and ironically pulling an old landrover out of the shed to go for scrap.  It’s interesting how many of its uses are “green” in themselves; as well as it being a green vehicle in itself.  Quiet too, as well as no emissions!
