The bunkhouse is located approximately half a mile south east of the centre of Inverie village and has 4 bedrooms sleeping 10, 7, 6 and 2. There is a well equipped kitchen, a light and airy dining room, a laundry and a cosy sitting room with a woodburning stove. In here you will find a cd/dvd/video player and a good selection of books and games as well as DVDs and videos. The bunkhouse also has a payphone for outgoing calls.  Izzie is the bunkhouse warden and she will give you a warm welcome and ensure that you are well looked after.

Please note: We often get requests for the booking of a specific room and in the past we have tried to accommodate this, but we have found that it leads to too many problems and, in some cases, disappointments. Because of this we will no longer be taking bookings for individual rooms. We apologise for this but feel that this is the only way we can be fair to everyone.

Rates for 2009:-

Individual Bookings

• £14 per person per night
• Under 16’s £10 per night
• 50% deposit required if booking in advance

Block Bookings

• The bunkhouse sleeps 25 people, and can be block booked at the following rates:-
• High season, 1st March to 30th September £300/night – saves £50 on full price (if booking at a weekend, you must book for a minimum of 3 nights to get the saving).
• 50% deposit for block bookings with balance paid 1 month before arrival. No refunds.
• NO block booking discount at Christmas or New Year (24th December through to 3rd January), just book as many spaces as required.

Other Costs

• BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT: Luggage transportation from pier to Bunkhouse £1/£2 per bag/ box depending on weight/size. Note: Guests still have to walk!

Guests should ensure they bring provisions for self-catering.  There is a small shop at the Knoydart Post Office, however it has a limited range of items for sale......and bring a torch - we have no street lighting!
