The bunkhouse is located approximately half a mile south east of the centre of Inverie village, and has 4 bedrooms sleeping 10, 7, 6 and 2 (sorry - individual rooms cannot be reserved). There is a well equipped kitchen, a light and airy dining room, a laundry and a cosy sitting room with a woodburning stove. In here you will find a satellite broadband internet connection, a cd/dvd/video player and a good selection of books and games as well as DVDs and videos. The bunkhouse also has a payphone for outgoing calls.  Izzie, the bunkhouse warden, will give you a warm welcome and ensure that you are well looked after.

Rates for 2010:

Individual Bookings (up to 5 people) 

• £14 per person per night
• Under 16s £10 per night
• 25% or £7 Non-refundable deposit required (whichever is the greater) within 21 days of placing booking
• Balance payable 2 weeks before arrival date

Group Bookings (6+ people)

• Prices as above
• 25% Non-refundable deposit required withing 21 days of placing booking
• Balance payable 6 weeks before arrival date

Block Bookings

• The bunkhouse sleeps 25 people, and can be block booked at the following rates:-
• £300/night – saves £50 on full price (if booking at a weekend, you must book for a minimum of 3 nights to get the saving)
• 25% Non-refundable deposit for block bookings with balance paid 6 weeks before arrival
• NO block booking discount during Easter or May, nor at New Year (31st December through to 3rd January), just book as many spaces as required

Other Costs

• BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT & SUBJECT TO VEHICLE AVAILABILITY: Luggage transportation from pier to Bunkhouse £1/£2 per bag/ box depending on weight/size. Note: Guests still have to walk!

We recommend booking in advance to make sure a bed is available. Please note: We often get requests for the booking of a specific room and in the past we have tried to accommodate this, but have found that it leads to too many problems and, in some cases, disappointments. Because of this we will no longer be taking bookings for individual rooms. Apologies, but we feel this is the only way we can be fair to everyone.

We have a limited range of emergency products for sale - for aching limbs, walkers' blisters, insect bites, personal hygiene etc - please ask if you need anything!

Knoydart Foundation manages wild deer and we benefit from being able to buy some of the lean, wild meat this produces - please ask us if you'd like to buy some venison to cook during your stay.  Recipes available!

Guests should ensure they bring fresh provisions for self-catering.  There is a small shop at the Knoydart Post Office; however, it has a limited range of items for sale. Bring a torch - we have no street lighting!
